FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you ship outside of Canada?

Yes, we are now shipping to the USA.

Do you ship to Newfoundland?

Yes, but it is not cheap, please contact us directly for an estimate.

Do you ship to the Norther Territories?

Yes, but due to price, please contact us directly to get an estimate.

Is there a minimum order of cans I need to buy?

Yes, 6 cans is the smallest order. We strongly encourage you to order in multiples of 6.

What's up with shipping?

We use a general rate calculator from our courier to get you the best shipping price possible and average it out by shipping zone per province. Some regions unfortunately have much higher shipping costs than others, there isn't anything we can do to change that, but you could buy a larger amount and get better rates. Shipping is complex even with rate breaks, zones, and multiple variables. If you need a large order over 500 cans, please contact us and we can arrange something for you. When we get lower shipping costs, we pass them on. In some cases, due to averaging, we lose money on shipping and pay out of pocket to get product to you.

How long does it take to get my order?

It depends. We ship from central Canada, and the further the paint has to go, the longer it can take. Spray Paint has to be shipped by ground courier service. Orders are shipped as they come in and we request next day pick up from out courier. We recommend you order earlier than later to avoid delays. Orders come with tracking.

I entered the wrong address, now what?

It will likely be returned to us. Please make sure you enter your address correctly. We can re-ship it to you at your cost if it makes it back to us.

Can I return Spray Paint?

No, unfortunately not. Some people ruin the fun for everyone and say a shipment is missing, damaged, or the cans do not work, when in reality they simply have used them and try to get free paint.

What if my cans are damaged or do not work?

In the case of damaged or defective cans, please reach out to us directly and we can handle the issue on a case by case basis involving us, the shipping company and you. Please reach out to us as soon as possible after getting your order, otherwise it is at our discretion on how we approach the issue.

Our team ensures that no cans are dented, damaged, or have any visible damage before sending them out.

We want you to get the best quality paint, and the best customer service.

Why am I getting cans that are different than the ones pictured on the website?

With the rebrand of NBQ Professional Spray Paint the new can designs are being rolled out with the new formula, and the factory is simply using the rest of the older cans that have been printed until they run out, and you will see the new can designs on all ranges of paint. All lines of spray paint have the new formula in them, some just have the older can.

When producing spray paint the factory orders the physical cans in very large amounts, its a waste of money and bad for the environment to throw those away when they are perfectly fine for the new formula. NBQ has been around for 10+ years but is now entering the North American market for the first time. Maybe you have used it on your travels before.

Where is NBQ made?

NBQ is made from start to finish in Spain - the first country to bring the world graffiti specific paint.  Our relationship with the Spanish team goes back many years.

What is the UV protection on the paint?

NBQ has 3 varnishes for UV protection.

Can I buy wholesale from you?

Absolutely you can. Are you a shop? a Festival? Someone who paints a lot? Maybe you just like having a lot of spray paint? We can help you out.

Can I get a high volume discount?

That depends on how much define high volume.

How does the paint hold up on steel, cold weather, and various surfaces?

NBQ paint goes through a multiple month long testing process in the R&D department and must reach EU standards before it can be approved for sale. Like any paint, coverage will vary with multiple factors, the surface itself, the temperature of the surface, the application process, etc.

NBQ is being used in countries with varying temperatures, all the way from Southern Africa to Northern Europe. Its been cold tested in Canada and Finland and works and applies to steel in -28c in Canada and -14c in Finland.

NBQ has a goal to give the highest quality paint, for the best price. The team is very experienced in the manufacturing process, and come with decades of  experience producing graffiti and artist specific aerosol paint.

Can I get the MSDS, TDS, and SDS Sheets?

If you would like the MSDS, TDS, or SDS sheets, please contact us.

Where can I buy your paint?

You can start here and buy directly from us, or ask your local art supply shop, graffiti shop, or paint dealer to speak to us and start carrying NBQ. Keep looking at the site and we will have a store listing page coming soon on where you can purchase paint in person.

Why does the paint cost more at a shop than online?

It is up to retailers to set their prices for different markets, we do suggest an MSRP, but it is their business on how much they want to charge. There are many factors involved that we have no control over.

What if I have another issue?

Please reach out to us directly, we want to offer the best customer experience possible.

I make my own markers, zines, clothing, will you sell this on your site?

Please reach out to us directly on our contact page we are happy to discuss this with you.

What about the environment?

We respect the environment and the indigenous peoples lands where we operate our business. NBQ spray paint is manufactured using strict EU environmental regulations. Please be responsible and recycle empty cans, or dispose of them at your closest recycling facility. Please use paint in an appropriate and respectful way. Please do not use the paint for illegal vandalism, or in any way that can damage the environment or other peoples property.

Thank you.
